I hated some of these characters, with a passion. Which is entirely why this book is So. Damn. Good.
From the very start, I was drawn into the drama. The splitting of the characters through the chapters and being able to read from each of their own perspective worked fabulous.
I have a few characters I really loved in there, and I couldn't put this book down until I knew what their next move was and how it would play out.
Shan L Scott has really brought out the feels with novel, setting scenes with excellent clarity and really drawing you into the characters psyche.
Can't recommend this one enough!

An interesting book that initially I was going to rate 3 or 4 star, but the surprise ending to this unusual romance tipped it up for me to a 5. I found it an emotional read that stirred my own heart to Shelly's feelings and have come away very ready to read the second book by Shan L Scott now. Lots of twists and roller-coasters.

See Us has taken the world of Shelly Butler and her ghosts to the next degree and is a captivating conclusion to the Second Sight Trilogy.
It promises to shake you to your core and haunt you long after the last page.

For me, a great book will keep me wanting to turn the pages, and “The Second Sight Trilogy” by Shan L. Scott did exactly that. Even if you don’t normally read stories containing supernatural elements, read this one! It is a moving, human story, with the spiritual content cleverly interwoven throughout. And it will keep you engaged until the very last page. I thoroughly recommend this book.

BIO
Shan L. Scott is an Ipswich, QLD, Australian writer with a penchant for the dark and macabre. Her interest in all things supernatural and her natural instincts in deftly weaving it into a tale makes her storytelling riveting. Her vast life experience can be perceived in the mature themes of her books, and the manner in which she approaches and explores often dark, yet extremely sensitive topics is a testament to her insight and innate desire for exposing the truth of a situation.
Shan has a diverse background, from a career in Electronics in Central Queensland’s Coal mining belt, to Quality Assurance and bridge building in Brisbane, she has always enjoyed an intellectual challenge. She studied a B Digital Design at Griffith University and BA Archaeology at USQ and also had a brief stint at Medical School.
Shan’s passion is for the arts, however. She enjoys writing, designing digital artwork, playing classical guitar and building flatpack furniture (there’s an art to putting anything from IKEA together!) She has two cats who love to sleep close by while she is writing, and Shan can often be seen rubbing a soft tummy while pondering what to write next.
Shan’s current WIP is an historical, dark, and gritty crime novel, with a curse and a supernatural twist. It’s a race against the clock, fast paced drama with a touch of romance, loyalty, and friendship in the mix. Shan plans to have this novel out by August-September.
The Second Sight Trilogy is a modern day tale which begins with a dark supernatural romantic drama, and increases in intensity and foreboding with each book, culminating in a nerve-wracking horror story by the final instalment.
